Cool things this wiki can do

Make a countdown clock

Embed PDF files with img previews simply calling out a pdf with a thumbnail size like this [[File:myPdfFile.pdf|page=1|200px]]

File:MyPdfFile.pdf

Really easy tables without html or wiki table code:

<tab class=wikitable sep=comma head=top>
Head 1,Head 2,Head 3
Field 4,Field 5,Field 6
Field 7,Field 8,Field 9
</tab>

Produces this: <tab class=wikitable sep=comma head=top> Head 1,Head 2,Head 3 Field 4,Field 5,Field 6 Field 7,Field 8,Field 9 </tab>

The source code formatter allows you to use the GeSHI syntax highlighter to format and color source code. Embedding the code with <source lang="bash"> tags results in a listing like the below. Note that the extension also has line numbering and wrapping ability. The extension can also disply only a PORTION of a file from "thisline" to "thatline." See [1] for more info.

<source lang="bash"> echo -n "Enter the name of an animal: " read ANIMAL echo -n "The $ANIMAL has " case $ANIMAL in

 horse | dog | cat) echo -n "four";;
 man | kangaroo ) echo -n "two";;
 *) echo -n "an unknown number of";;

esac echo " legs." </source>

The wiki also supports embedded google charts. Google charts syntax is very easy and makes charts simple:

Example:
 <pie 3d title="Bundestagswahl 2005" size=300x150 xlabel>
SPD,       34.2
CDU,       27.8
CSU,        7.4
GRÜNE,      8.1
FDP,        9.8
Die Linke., 8.7
Sonstige,   3.9
</pie>

<pie 3d title="Bundestagswahl 2005" size=300x150 xlabel> SPD, 34.2 CDU, 27.8 CSU, 7.4 GRÜNE, 8.1 FDP, 9.8 Die Linke., 8.7 Sonstige, 3.9 </pie>
